COIL COVER W/LABEL (LATE STYLE WITH STRAP)

After meteoric increases in the cost of the fiberglass versions, in order to keep the price reasonable, we went back to the factory style, vacuum-formed plastic versions.

The late style coil cover is a factory update to address the poor retention by the upper and lower attachment points of the original cover. The latch and hook are simply eliminated and replaced by a strap that wraps around the coil cover and firmly secures in position.

To retrofit the late style coil cover, or to install a fresh strap, bulkhead electrical connections and the positive wire bundle on the nearby post must be disconnected to access the strap mounting point.

Early style coil covers with an integrated latch are also available (110227E).
