Take-off Part is an original part removed from a new, assembled component. In some cases it may be a part that was removed from a new car prior to it originally being sold, typically for cosmetic reasons. As such, "take-off" parts may show signs of being previously installed, but are guaranteed for fit and function.
These are the underpowered alternators used on cars up to VIN 4539 or so. Many have already been replaced over the years with our 120amp alternators. Don't order this alternator unless you absolutely need it for concours purposes.
