New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole and is typically used with a mating bolt to fasten multiple parts together. A combination of friction, slight stretching, and compression holds everything in place.
