Pneumatic Components Ltd Tire Pressure Gauge (New Original Stock)

Over the years occasional visitors touring our Texas warehouse have noticed a box of shiny chrome plated tire pressure gauges, giving rise to rumors of the existence of official DeLorean tire pressure gauges. There is no evidence that these were ever considered to be included with the DeLorean tool kits, but it is believed that these were sent to the factory by their manufacturer, Pneumatic Components Limited (PCL), of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.

• Angled head is designed to fit onto the valve at 90 degrees
• Self-adjusting friction device enables pressure to be read when the tire pressure gauge is removed from the tire valve
• Calibration: 6-50 psi
• Accuracy: +/- 2 ps

PCL is believed to have supplied the DeLorean factory with various air handling equipment though it’s still unknown exactly why/how the factory ended up with these tire pressure gauges that appear to never have been used. These circa 1981 new original stock (NOS) gauges come complete with the (often lost) removable plastic protective cap, in the correct off-white color. Interestingly, PCL still exists today and offers a later version of this gauge, but with noticeably different markings on the body and a black protective cap, making it easy to distinguish the later parts from these 1981-era examples.
