part was designated “Safety Critical” by the factory. As a result, this part required special materials, and records of inspection were required to demonstrate supplier compliance with design requirements. This DeLorean part meets or exceeds those requirements per factory documentation.
New Original Stock headlight bezels are available in stainless steel, or also in powder coated black. Recently discovered factory records have revealed a plan to eliminate the "shiny" headlight bezels on DeLoreans in favor of black powder-coated versions like these.
