Reproduction Part is one that has been re-created using the factory engineering drawings, but with modern materials and techniques. These parts are only modified to improve functionality or simplify tooling and/or manufacturing.
The "wrinkled" black and gray vinyl used on the interior of the DeLorean for the sides of the center console, faces of the upper and lower door panels, and the three kneepads. The vinyl is 54" in width and sold by the yard.
Note the wrinkled texture is embossed into the vinyl diagonally across the 54" width. See the photos for details.
