New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
The original DeLorean fuel tank is one of the most reliable parts of the car - we've only seen one outright failure (Grover's) in 30+ years. The blow molded plastic tanks clean out very well and typically only require replacement when a mechanic is too lazy to clean it out.
