New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
Story goes that at the factory they used to say the DeLorean was a British car with a body by Wilkinson Sword. If you've ever run a towel or rag along the inner wheel well to dry it off and this protector was missing, you're lucky if you didn't end up with a nasty cut.
