part was designated “Safety Critical” by the factory. As a result, this part required special materials, and records of inspection were required to demonstrate supplier compliance with design requirements. This DeLorean part meets or exceeds those requirements per factory documentation.
Not required with the modern Stabilus 108209 louvre strut, so if you're buying it (or the complete set of all six struts) then you won't need to buy these separately.
