part was designated “Safety Critical” by the factory. As a result, this part required special materials, and records of inspection were required to demonstrate supplier compliance with design requirements. This DeLorean part meets or exceeds those requirements per factory documentation.
Lots of DeLorean cars have a brake servo - also known as a brake booster - that is rusty, sometimes severely from a leaking brake master cylinder.
For this "Safety Critical" part, a new original stock (NOS) replacement is a better alternative than simply refinishing a used original or even a "new" unit of unknown origin/manufacture and specification.
