The factory original dash pad was made in a complicated process of a metal frame, covered in foam and then a vinyl skin was vacuum formed into place on top. These three materials expand and contract at different rates in the heat, thereby causing the cracks and fissures in the dash. Fear not, our replacements are made in one piece as an injection molded plastic part and should never crack or discolor. Also available in gray under part number 110440.
