New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
Many times, the boots of the lower ball joints or tie rod ends are cracked or broken on DeLoreans. If you catch it soon enough, you may be able to get by with just replacing the boots. This part can do either the lower ball joint or the tie rod (track rod) end.
