New Original Stock, or NOS, part traces its origins back to 1982, when the DeLorean factory closed. In some cases, the part has traveled from the original supplier in the US to Dunmurry before making it's way to Ohio and finally Texas!
If you have a manual transmission and do a lot of driving, we recommend having a spare one of these in your glovebox, just in case. When this bolt breaks, the shift linkage no longer functions and you're basically stuck in whatever gear you happened to be in. It'll be a lot easier to get back on the road quickly if you happen to have one of these parts handy.
